SEMANTICS AND PEDANTICS - AN ONLINE NEWS REPORT

I' ve just been reading an online bit of news

That has a fiction writer a bit quick to accuse

The coin marking Brexit lacking a punctuation sign

That actually isn't necessary - what's shown is just fine.

When content is added  that uses the word "and" -

Continuing a sequence that goes hand in hand.

Then there is no need for a punctuation mark;

"Semantics and pedantics" - always good for a lark!

Brian...as always, I respect your opinion. ??
The criticism in this instance comes, rather appropriately, from an author of fantasy.

Mark...I am certain, confident and satisfied that you are correct.
