One of the most beautiful things is to read a poem that takes you on a journey. Samples shows the vulnerability, courage, and strength take me as I am. While loving the perfect imperfection you made. Love it dope poem.

Just finished eating my breakfast and reading your lovely comment on my profile page - thanks! It's been great reading your work here on WoL, such a wonderful place to make connections with other writers around the world. I very much hope you will stay and share more of your creativity.

So pleased you like my sample poem. I took a look at Walt's and appreciate the wonder of looking and being in that moment. Sometimes we get too immersed in learning and naming and remembering that we forget to simply stop and observe and listen. Poetry is all about that moment for me.

Dyphrent, welcome to WOL. And LOOK! A first poem chosen as Poem of the Week. Congratulations! That's a record, I think, and a real honour.

The poem following your 'bio' is very intense with some fine ideas. I really like 'presuppositions, prejudices and pride' an excellently alliterated list.

I take it that you feel 'possessed' by poetry. I think that most of us contributing poems here, and reading other works on site, know exactly what you mean. It's a great common denominator that ties us all together.
