January 2018 Collage Poem: A New Life II

Give everything away you won't need those things

Snow drops bring new beginnings and fresh starts.

New hopes, old fears, grasping at

The sky, fingers crossed for meaning

Does the eagle eat the dove, or the dove

Soothe the eagle?

The kings race across the snow and through

The winds of time to the new born truth.
