The day death came, she saw

A moth holding court

In the corner of the room, a flickering

Sepia shadow, muted

Whispers from the nearby

Ether where her God

Was waiting.

And it fluttered flighty

Morse code, signals of

Transition and how to slip

Behind the veil; softly,

Softly in the fading of

Presence, the evaporating

Senses, she found it

Her silken sunbeam, ...

It hangs in the air. 

So quiet, so final. 

You don't always know what to say. 

The words are not enough. 

The heart strings sing,

for all their worth.

A song of sad farewell.

Loss amplifies the merit of the missed

A sudden power outage
Rams home
Light's advantage!

What is exactly meant
By inexorable grief,
Dawned on me
Off my guard
When you
Turned brief,
Setting my heart afire
With anguish
That knows not a relief!

What a dead or dump nose
That doesn't sense
Death hovers close!
That is why
Oblivious to facts on the ground
I stuck to"Forever together!"

Yet,happily
The Almighty lends
