Is cuireann sí gruaim ar dhaoine,

 

An ghaoth aneas bíonn sí tais,

Is cuireann sí rath ar shíolta,

 

An ghaoth anoir bíonn sí tirim,

Is cuireann sí sioc istoíche,

 

An ghaoth aniar bíonn sí fial,

Is cuireann sí iasc i líonta.
