invisible (Remove filter)

Only for the wind

I got lost in myself, like the wind that dances without reason
And I looked at the sky, as if it were my last thought
but it just looked back, without promises
I tried to understand, but what is understanding?
Will I ever understand?
Perhaps understanding is just another illusion of the mind

And longing, ah, longing became a shadow
that follows me and touches me with its invisible hands
...

Invisible plot

And what remains when time unravels
when chance enters without warning?
An invisible plot, a loose thread
and fate, which cannot be explained
appears with its indistinct face

It was me, and yet it wasn’t
I no longer know where mine begins
In the eyes I encounter
a broken reflection
a longing that has no words

Life folds, twists
loses itself in its own turns
And I, lost, am turned a...

Nobody's bleeding

Nobody's bleeding,

But everybody's hurting,

It's a hidden sickness

That we refuse to accept,

An actor’s part,

Theatrical gestures

Our initial response.

We refuse to believe.

They must be faking,

Raking in the sympathy.

A perfectly played role,

A smile betrays them

As the blind decry them,

It's no broken bone...

Invisible

~I'm the thin layer of ice that forms on paved surfaces
A slippery slope that can lead to ones demise if ignored
But you ignore me anyway, because I'm seemingly harmless
I don't think the camouflage I wear every waking day helps
It's a proactive measure I guess
You see right through me
Like I'm made of glass
I'm fragile, but you throw the stones anyway
Don't you know shards are deadly?~

Grace and Favour

Grace and Favour

For all that a life that's truly led

provides the anxious soul with balm,

yet a gentle breeze, invisible and calm,

precedes the storm where the meek have fled.

In Summer's graceful darkling glides the hawk

in flight over burnished grain, 'till late

a final stoop unearths its prey: its fate

the slashing shadows where the killers stalk.

Though se...

Invisible Rain

This is a commentary on living, when the living is hard.

Invisible Rain

Dawn has come to smother the light

in my house.

As I douse the candle's flicker

its feeble flame shines at the window,

lifting the road beyond

into patterned pathways, glinting

in the early bright;

the soft rain of midnight's darkling succour

is almost gone.

It will return tomorrow, u...

Alone

Through these halls
I walk alone.
In the classrooms
where I sit with many others
I am still, yet alone.
In the Cafateria
the same thing there goes as well
I am there, yet I am not seen.

Alone is where I am
no matter where I go.
I am here, I am there,
I am everywhere.
And standing there
I try to get
your undivided attention
because I am tired
of being in solitary,
yet I continue ...
