The Beast is Me
This is absolute codswallop
my aura remains infectious
it moves in waves
it's fluctuant
and yet I evade another performance of mine-
like a shirk.
When i should be competitively ruthless as a shark
but, like a snake I slither away unnoticed

As a starving artist I feel it's my obligation to give the-
audience one hell of a perf...

Ignoring those who warned this was too far
Those who later condemned and said they'd sinned
What fearsome lightning their resolve confirmed
To face artillery and armoured car
What deafening thunder what shooting star
Incited rebellion, what fire that burned
