FIGHTER PILOT

 

My mum once told me that my dad was a fighter pilot

Flying over Vietnam and Laos

Dropping bombs and killing.

He got five Migs

Before the missiles got him.

 

Yeah, my dad flew a Thunderchief.

He flew two hundred missions

Over that hell of a country

Until the missiles blew him away.

 

I never saw my dad

But he died a he...
