I still remember the first day 

I laid eyes on him  

Wearing nothing but a greasy shirt 

Caught all my attention

 

Since then I went out every Friday

We met at the same time I spoke my first word

I know you for so long that I even get lost,

You taught me how to wield a sword

But like everything, it came with a cost

I mistook you for a friend

I gave you all I possessed
