Like a mighty tree, indeed, is a man;
His hairs are the leaves and his skin the outer bark.

DANCE DIVINE
An invisible band
Plays inaudible strains.
Enter two dancers;
They step, figure and twirl
To natural time.
Side by side or in tandem,
Now solo, now pairing,
They take it in turns
To lead and to follow
Exactly on cue.
Sure-footed and nimble,
And foil to each other,
They tread their design;
Their joy is their movement,
