innocent victim struggles

sharp steel blade

strikes without thought

cuts deep inside

senseless barbaric killing

another life lost

hundred thousand whys

angel of knives

sends a message

to those who

carry lethal weapons

stop and think

before street crime

leaves more scars

for more families

one day it

might be your

Mum and Dad
