Just the Three of Us

Speaking to the man opposite

That lady in the corner

sitting like a stone statue

do you believe in ghosts?

 

Looking bemused he just smiled

unable to stand the pretence

I then sat near her

asking nervously Why so quiet?

 

She replied Well I never

when I saw you talking

I thought how very odd

seeing you too was alone.
