Flashes of her beauty

The memories unfairly buried

Once captured and placed 

Somethings you can’t erase

the Barking and the snores

Welcome homes and good nights

Torment with every scratch 

A story for every bandage 

The sutures are so rugged

Is it safe

...do I wait 

to clear my plate 

 preserve whats left with faith 

Pass the basket to the side 

Empty hearts opened wide 

Fill with promise, Take the lies 

Close the top, Kiss the lid

Time has come, Bury deep 

 Dry your eyes, children weep

Some may sing, silence the cries 

Clear the room

Stomachs full, stories told

My sadness can be kind. 

My heart can be opened. 

My clock can rewind. 

My scars can be softened.
