a thought with a stinger 
to pierce a veil too thick for mere chitchat 
a thousand fold, like fractals 
potent in tin numbers 
and bent venom 

sweat thin : 
clung in dew drops
oiling with fear, a torture drips
hung fangs from an incubus
pressed beneath a leering ocean 
otherwise weightless 
to the unhaunted 
fellowship of man 

though horizontal, I stand .
bones thinning...
