i have been wondering ?

do the ladies on here find that their creativity waxes and wanes alongside the moon cycle , or if you arent attuned to the moon so directly , your menstrual cycle ,

Lol - now that is an interesting one! Don't think I've ever suffered from PMT so can't use that excuse for any of my mood swings - having said that I am quite dizzy so might not have noticed the triggers - I might set a chart up and see... Joking apart, I can imagine it might be a problem for some women - anything that alters hormones and moods would affect your poetry. Don't much look forward to the menopause - the psychological pressures as well as the hormone swings. Now you've got me wondering just what excuse men have for the vile way they behave sometimes? The waxing of the moon? Mmm maybe.

i was thinking more of accentuating the positive here , but yes i am sure the confidence trick that pmt plays affects how poems are written . But do you write when you feel wonderful and powerful or when you feel depleted and angst ridden :)

Sorry for being negative. When I am feeling empowered and over the moon, it tends to be cos I am out there being busy, getting on with life and having fun - that tends to depress the poetry because there is less time to write... On that note - time to get out there...

Nothing Girlie about my monthly bio rythmic mood swings,..

but I am aware of the considerable effect the moon has on me...

As a matter of interest and in the present discussion thread theme of 'I have been wondering'...

If you are able to memorise lines and facts almost at will then you are known as having a photographic memory... what was it known as before the camera was invented?

...PMT.. pictorial memory thingy...

hehehe, Gus.

On a serius note, I always prefer the term eidetic memory to photographic memory. Front the greek "eidos" ... form.

PS just read Gus's piggie poem - very droll.
