What an awesome day today was!

I must thank Rachel and Elaine for their workshops, Darren for his understanding regarding our timings going out of the window, Paul for the open mic, my Dad, Richard for the storytelling, Eva, Lee, Bev and all the young people from Streetwise for doing the buffet, setting up and packing away and all of the sponsors that made the day possible.

We had 100 visitors today aged from 4 to 80, with the majority taking part in three activities or more and I hope everyone enjoyed themselves as much as they seemed to be doing.

I am looking forward now to having a small rest followed by planning LitaBury 11!

Any feedback on how LitaBury could have been improved or positive feedback on what you enjoyed would be very gratefully recieved and will be taken seriously in the planning of LitaBury 11.

It was a fab day enjoyed by all. My daughter enjoyed the open mic and the story telling session particulary. I think it would be good if there was a wrting or poetry workshop for the children as well as adults but overall a very sucessful day. All volunteers were kind and helpful and worked very hard to pull off a fantastic day enjoyed by adults and children a like. Well done!!!

thanks gemma for a great day...I hope my workshop was useful. it was a challenge to deliver to such a big group of all levels of ability but I enjoyed it and if any participant felt inspired to write some more as a result then its a job well done x

maybe more singing at 2011? good way for kids to get involved with the words xx
