Next isn't necessarily next...
I've noticed recently when you look at a blog, at the bottom right where it says "previous" and "next" even when there are more recent blogs from that poet the "next" always repeats the title of the one you're looking at, even if the next one is a different one. This means you can't go forwards to see the poet's more recent stuff, not in this way anyhow. And it is misleading cos you think this must be their last poem when it ain't necessarily so. I guess it's a small point but it is a bit irritating. xx P.S. Though a bit hard to explain...

Now you mention it, I've noticed that too. It never used to be like that. I'm presuming it's a glitch that has come along with the advertising, maybe? One for the techies to resolve next time they release something perhaps...

And while they are correcting that -
how about that irritating little box that pops up without invitation or warning and states...
"Message from webpage
sorry error polling for invites"
(hey - it's just appeared and I've
had to "close" it before continuing)
- often requiring a REPEAT of a post
before it appears properly online.

Ooooh MC! I've never seen that one. Computers are so . . . weird!

I get that message but it doesn't interfere with me posting anything. I don't have to close it and I just carry on writing my comment.

Isobel - perhaps my mistake is "closing" it? Invariably, having
completed a post - sometimes a poem, I then find myself shunted off to an "error - no handler" page which refuses the post...
and I then have to type and post my entry a SECOND time.
Weird indeed - and b....y annoying!

Yes, I have come accross something like what Ann describes with the next/previous anomally
and also the error polling for invites is an old friend.
can I add to this the fact that the cursor seems to keep vanishing it the comments boxes?

I don't think my cursor has ever vanished in the comments box. Maybe mine is a well trained cursor! Put your cursor on the naughty step Win!
