Who??????

We used to have mysterious question marks - now we have this big bald guy with massive shoulders - even if you are a delicate little lady! Who is this giant of a man? He looks a bit on the obese side to me. I think he needs to go on a diet! And his posture isn't too good either. All that slouching over a computer I suppose.

What makes you think the ink blot person is male, Ann? Could be a large woman with a flat hairstyle and no neck

or wearing a hood or scarf mebbe?

I won't be drawn. When it comes to women and size, like most men I've learnt to keep my mouth shut if it gets down to specifics.

Could be a poem in that.

Oh my word. I'm away for a few days but can now see myself working up a whole new poem on the theme of "does my bum look big in this profile picture?"

More seriously... what would people prefer? In my perfect WOL world all profiles would have some sort of pic. Whether its a butterfly, The devil or a sheep. It doesn't really matter to me but the choice does reflect something and says something about the chooser. Ann was the master (mistress?) of the themed, changing profile pic. Others have posted their latest open mic photo.

Any thoughts most welcome . Win (Admin hat on)

Well I for one think you should have the photo of you wearing your admin hat Win!
I think choosing/changing profile pics is a great way of expressing yourself. And as a female personage I would hate to be represented by the large lumbering looking figure we now have. So could this be a cunning plan to get people putting a photo up? If so, good idea!!

Wikipedia says the 9 Muses each have an emblem. Perhaps one of those - or all 9, but randomly? Or one of the pics of Muses in the Wiki article. The one of a Muse holding a scroll is nice.

A while ago Anthony Emerson thought it would be a good wheeze to have a photo caption comp as a blog. Didn't seem to catch on but maybe we could post a photo suggestion for admin to use as the image for bashful poets who, apart from being bashful, can't be bothered to find a profile pic. Think I'll do that right now!

Anyone with an ounce of sense would realise that it is in fact Raymond Burr from Ironside - hence the bad posture - the poor fellow is slumped in a wheelchair. Shame on you all for taking the micky so...
