ooohh err, Nat Clare, was err, dedicated to the follower of fashion.
I'm trying to recall from the notes which ended up on the backs of beer matts. Flat beer matts made the bits n bats easier to recall, after all memory is unreliable, especially after a skinfull of Tudor vodka, aint it so?

Twas a good night with another stirling turn out. I had thought it might be quiet, given the fact that many of us are camping in the lake district this week-end for the Fell End/Foot music/poetry festival - but not at all.
Susie's act was memorable for the dazzling outfit, toned legs and tap shoes, as much as the outragiously naughty innuendos of her poetry... A very bold number with lots of audience partication.
I enjoyed all the acts. I thought Jess was excellent - what a superb memory to be able to perform her stuff like that without paper. I see she has a profile on here now - one to check out for sure.
It's the first time I've seen you compere and you did goooood - as the americans would say - but I wouldn't... It all seemed very effortless and well stitched together - with fluid poetic patter inbetween each act.
Enjoyed your closing poem about the dangers of moving in with lovers. A useful piece of advice to anyone thinking of moving in with John Togher - be careful where you hang your clothes in the wardrobe...
Would write more but I'm pooped from last night and haven't packed yet. You may find that a lot of peeps who would contribute to this thread, are already away.
Viva El Tudor! xx

A night crackling with eloquence, eccentricity and wit. It was like being in a Berlin nightclub between the wars. John Togher's poem was impressive if a little frikening. Well done all poets and praise to Peter Crompton, a most stylish MC.

An enjoyable evening as usual. Not sure about a tap dancing career. Well done to Pete for a very professional job.
