Somewhere in the globe today is "Appreciate A Poet Day," and I am very thankful for you All!

I just googled it and apparently World Poetry Day is on 21st March - but what the hell, we are all modern poets, so we can express free appreciation :)

and National Poetry Day is 3rd October. Not sure if that's England or the UK. There's a day for everything.

So true, and most of us find out just what day it is the day before or sometime after it. *sighs*

Why does England/UK have national poetry day in October, when the, earlier, WPD was started by UNESCO and is, as you say, in March.
