Biography
Hello Everyone, thanks for checking out my bio. I write poetry and fiction influenced by life and a love for music of the heavier variety. My first pamphlet or mini anthology is called The Will To Gig. "...it has a light touch, and rhymes give it a structure that stops it barrelling off into an enthusiastic, untamed epic. Like the bands Ghislena follows, these poems have the rawness and energy of a live performance. The Will to Gig is a good demo EP that would have a music journo place the band on a ‘one to watch, especially live’ list." - Sabotage Reviews My work has been published online by 99Fiction.net, Poetry Space Ltd and Dog-Ear magazine and was also featured in the BritMums Poetry&Prose Round Up When I am not writing, working or looking after my family, I frequent small sweaty venues in London to see noisy bands wearing plugs in my ears. Open mic nights are also on my agenda and if I can control my nerves and blind panic, I might get up and read, (without plugs in my ears).

Thank you very much for you comments on 'The Place Where Only Dead Men Sleep'. It is difficult to imagine the savagery, fear and horrors of trench warfare so to write it in the first person was a piece of escapism.
Glad you liked it and I look forward to reading the one you penned after your visit to Northern France Anna.
Kind regards
Daniel.
