Biography

I am a playwright by trade but moonlight as a poet. My first collection 'Beside the See-side' is published by Flapjack Press- here http://www.flapjackpress.co.uk/page3.htm The musical 'Dreamers' I have co-written with Lindsay Williams opens at Oldham Coliseum in June. Yes. It is about the nightclub in Oldham. http://www.coliseum.org.uk/plays/dreamers/ My plays have become more poetic and lyrical naturally over the last couple of years. I love words. I read my poems out sometimes. My poems will be on some sculptures this year. Please send chufty badges to Flapjack Press

Thank you Cathy - I only really wrote it for her eyes, and when she didn't get to see it, I didn't know what else to do with it.

Hello Cathy .. yes I can see your interpretation of people not being given the truth about numbers .. I was thinking about how quickly a tragedy disappears from the news leaving just the family to grieve .. chris.

Hi Crabb - welcome to WOL. I like your profile page poems - hope to see some of your work on the blog section soon. Have you passed this way before? I gather from Steve's comment that you have - if so, welcome back!

Apologies - I think in my welcome message to you I said it would be good if you could put some poems on your profile page - I was "round-robinning" a message to somebody who hadn't got any poems on their page. I can see that you have poems on your page :)
