My first published poem (at age 8 in Cricket magazine), so, er, a few years ago... The Dark Woods The dark woods are scary, silly and creepy The great scent of pine makes you smiley and sleepy Shadows show up in the moonlit sky Angels with harps go floating by A falling star to make a wish You sing a song in a perfect pitch Waterfalls dance to their own special tune You feel as though you could reach the moon.

Hi Becky, I just started writing poetry again after a loooooong time off. Great to see you here! We have to go to a slam together soon! ?
Hey fancy seeing you here! Did I miss something? I've not been on this site much in the last few weeks or so, although I was pretty addicted last summer.

Silence is an under-valued asset.
Your reading of A Motherwell Romance was enormously poignant. Thank you.
