LIFE! WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT? How can I tell you the answer When I don't know the question? How can I tell you the secret when the answers are too numerous to mention There ain't no single answer to give! You just get on with it and continue to live You question and wonder what it's all been about Then you laugh and you cry when it all comes to nowt There ain't no reason and there ain't no rhyme There ain't no season and no perfect time The good times are the simplest and the easiest to find In the light coloured memories at the back of your mind It's the sun on your face or the drink in your hand It's the footy on TV or the smile on your gran It's the wind in your hair on a warm sunny day It's the look in your eye when there's nothing to say It's the voice of your mum or the voice of your dad When you were a kid and the fun that you had What can I tell you, what do I know? What can you see, what can I show? How can I give you the answers When I don't know the question? Life! What's it all about?

Hi Neil! I'm sure you don't have to re-think your Grief Voyeur poem, I was being a bit thick ;-)
I get it now! xx
Hi Neil, thanks for your nice comments on some of my poems. Glad to see you blogging! A good poem too.
Hello and welcome - but I thought it was only women over fifty that were invisible? I like your poem, I feel that I can hear you reading it, or, that it would be great read out loud. (Is there a tiny mistake in the line "when there's nothing to say"?) Hope to see more!

Hi Neil... Thanks for reading and commenting on 'Pelt'. Glad you liked it. Ihave just got back from a weekend away on 'The Dinosaur coast' In a village called Staithes(Near Whitby) I have also changed the pic on the blog entry to one of mine which shows the view from the holiday cottage 2 nights ago. A stunning place. Cheers Win
