Biography
I began writing in my teens, shortly after my parents divorced. It became a way to express my emotions during that difficult time. However, I stopped writing for many years until I experienced a period of bereavement. During that challenging time, I found writing once again helped me process my emotions and navigate through my grief. Eventually, I refocused my energy and pursued a degree in Education Studies, completing it with a 2:1 result. Now 42 years old, a single mother of two daughters, I now work part-time at a Pupil Referral Unit in a primary school. The journey has been both challenging and rewarding, and writing continues to be an important part of how I reflect and grow.
Angels on my Journey
I’m still healing, that much I see, Perhaps we all are, endlessly. Growth is a constant battle, high and lows Constantly rebuilding and getting the blows. Each day is an opportunity to rise, To help or change, or lift others’ eyes. Friends walked with me, freed me from chains, I met angels, time and time again. Some may scoff, some may agree, But I believe in a power way higher than me. God's plan’s better than mine will ever be, Angels pass by, setting spirits free. So thank you, angels, for healing my soul, For making me whole, restoring control. I hope when you’re low, angels come your way, To lift you up, brighten your day.
A daughters love
I miss you every day, My heart yearns for your voice in every way. Not a day goes by without a wish for a different choice, How I long for your embrace and to rejoice. Deep wounds bleed, unseen by sight, When pain overwhelms, day and night. Yet with each year that passes by, The absence fades, knowing love will never die. The memories is cherished, it doesn't fade A tear is shed and laughter is made
