as it turns out Corona Virus

can even be transmitted through the internet

so in due diligence

we have taken down all blogs and postings

in order to protect ourselves

from infected poets

from now on poets will be required to

thoroughly clean themselves before submitting poems

and all poems must be sanitized

and written with gloves and mask

but stay busy and continue to write

someday the government will allow us to move about

like free citizens again

and you can start posting poems

as long as they are certified as decontaminated

and you have a note from your mother

saying your poems are safe for consumption

in the meantime, stay well

but don't touch anybody.
