June Collage Poem: The Other Side of Nigel
Wake up to the glory of a legendary Nigel we do not know
Nigel was gone when we rioted that night time
Nigel was gone when we ran out of chicken pie
It was the day they told us to learn again in insanity
Nigel was first of course
Taking to unplug with Nigel
We are taunted or haunted by memories of the future
The inkwell was full of pulsating excitement
hitting the right notes in music always out of order.
Nigel was responsible of course for everything
Thought Alexander Park was a little known American Beat Poet
Nigel was right of course.
She twists into inglenooks fearing to open the door
haunted by the future.
All we have is the sun of life now
not available now
my inkwell is full
but the shadow still overwhelms me
Nigel was right of course.
Sex on the cover but only love is found inside
A Martian sends a postcode home.

They seek him here
they seek him there
they say he is hiding
till the coast is clear.
