Lactose Intolerance---a poem by O.L. Buzzerd

I am old

and mosta my parts

are worn out and broke down

there's a lot of things

that don't agree with me

including food and politics

then there's a lot of people

who don't agree with me either

my x-wife dont

my kids don't

my neighbor dont

the cat don't really care

one way or the other

got a touch of what's called

"Lactose Intolerance"

which means if I eat milk products

I get gas

this can be embarrassing in elevators

or at funerals

I am Lactose Intolerant

but then agin' at my age

I'm intolerant about most things

which explains why people don't

like to be around me much

I'm old and grouchy

and intolerant of stupidity

also intolerant

of fools.

-O.L.Buzzerd

"this too shall pass!"

I too must suffer from a form of lactose intolerance...with the milksops that seem so vocal these days! ?

O.L. is an old poet who lives in West Texas in a trailer
parked on a bluff overlooking the Rio Grande.
He has Horny Toads and goats for pets
and plenty of cactus and rocks.
He also has plenty of time to think up stuff like this.
