Lockdown Shopping Revised
I saw it on Lorraine last week,
the fashion bit on GMB,
from that very moment,
I knew it was the dress for me.
Mark Heyes said it was a bargain,
win win, it was in the sale,
even better, I thought,
you can't beat a bargain rail.
I took myself to Primark,
queued two metres apart,
as I got near the front,
I could feel my beating heart.
Once inside, I soon spotted it,
the dress was straight ahead,
on the rail and underneath,
the “grab a bargain” sign in red.
I scoured the rails many times,
every size, just not mine,
I bought the dress anyway,
a size below will fit just fine.
I queued up at the check out,
on those two metre spots,
the cashier was protected,
by a plastic screen with slots.
Back home, I can not wait,
will it fit, I have my doubts,
big knickers on, the zip goes up,
perfect, if I breath in and not out.
I am so happy with my dress,
after lockdown it will look great,
as long as for the foreseeable,
there is only salad on my plate.

I always carry a measuring tape while going shopping. I dont like wearing untill washed. And to be on the safer side i take a size bigger, so it makes me feel thinner.....hehehe
