Alcoholic thoughts,God bless alcohol

Bill and Phill had one thing in common, they drank quite a lot.

Bill said,"I only drink twice a day, when I'm thirsty and when I'm not."

Phill said,"It is a habit I will always keep,

But I can stop drinking when I'm asleep."

Bill says,"I don't  have a drink problem when all is said and done,

Except when all the pubs are closed and  I can't get one."

"Drinking is one thing my mum did deplore,

To avoid a hangover she would say, don't drink the night before."

Phill said,"I would be devastated if my love of drink went away,

I'd wake up in the morning and that 's the best I would be all day."

"We both drink when we're happy,we drink when we're sad,

Beer is proof God loves us ,for its existence we're glad."

God bless alcohol.

Alcohol is both a taker and giver
What's good for your mind may be bad for your liver!I
I speak from years spent enjoying after-work pints of beer, only
touching the odd glass of whisky on special occasions. I haven't
had more than the rare pint in retirement (not at today's prices!!)
and have adjusted accordingly, in terms of money saved and health
preserved. No intent to sound sanctimonious, just a necessary fact
- one of the changes in life that happens - which occurs through
circumstances and needs adjustment. i consider myself fortunate
now to consume a drink rather than let a drink consume ME - as
seems to be the case with some unhappy souls in this life.

Nothing wrong with alcohol, it's the abuse of it that is the issue...as the falling down drunken stupor bloke in WSM High Street on Saturday will testify to, or at least he would if he ever comes round.

I love this and I like Bill and Phil, hopefully their wives, Jill and Syl feel the same, except I imagine they would replace beer with wine?
Thank you for bringing a smile to my miserable Monday morning.
