As wise men say
no gift should be a debt
to be calculated and
owed in return
but given freely
in love and brotherhood
the essence of humanity
a way for all
humans to truly act
sharing what they have
so no one is the master
and no one the slave
it is then
humanity shines
in the gift of giving
no keeping score
no strings attached.
