THE PULL OF HOME
I live in a plastic palace
and all is well at home,
my wife has a plastic phallus
and I have a plastic gnome.
We think in terms of plastic
from furniture to jewels,
we're not iconoclastic
we abide by all the rules.
With static like the northern lights
people stand around,
and even when we leave the house
we end up homeward bound.

Trying to devote a little time to your work Ray, so sorry to come in late. Enjoyed this mate - the last stanza deviate somewhat for me, but good stuff. Cheers
