Christmas is for pantomime

that was, until recent events

these days you stay at home

fight between good and bad

left you going home dizzy, or

on occasion fearful and sad

 

magic at the theatre's over

sick panto's in the very air

lungs and nature in conflict

Big Bad Wolf out of his lair

 

Captain Hook's grim slashes

Prince John's medieval sins

cant match the Virus Ogre

the villain that always wins

 

oh where is the Good Giant

to slay this wicked intruder

that rudely kills the innocent?

its worse than Henry Tudor

 

this evil joker needs no stage

no trinsel adorns its vistas

invisible and smart, it would

terrify the worst Ugly Sisters
