Alarm Clock

The nightstand clock

to which I now allude

disturbed my good sleeping

put me in a bad mood

I was having fun dreaming

a great movie plot

then your blast interrupted

the rest I forgot

The dream so appealing

starring me in the lead

now I'll never know how

the dream would proceed

Your blare never charming

loud as a fog horn

in the future, have mercy

and temper your alarm.
