Mr Frost
Goodbye Mr Frost
Did you leave the children screaming?
Give their life some meaning?
Do they realise the cost?
Stay there
So you can hear him breathing
Prepare you for the grieving,
for the wailing of your soul
Slow down
His darkness is just growing
Your stomach churning, knowing
That the end is coming soon
...And he's right here in your room
In the dark, he comes creeping
Floating in while you're sleeping
He's the reaper of your dreams
The dark-clown of all things
...Be still, your shaking limbs
He'll make a carcass of your mind
And deathly visions left behind
will be the cause of so much pain
Digging deep 'till you're insane
Now, Mr Frost is in your brain
Don't run
'cos he will come and find you
Tie you up & bind you
For his game has just begun
Don't turn
'cos you know he might just be there
Looking at you with his dead stare
As your flesh begins to burn
Dark night
You know he'll take your last breath
A slow exquisite grim death
But now everything feels right
Under such pale moonlight
He's the feeder of our fright
The hungry mouth of fevered plight
His dirty fingers rake your mind
Until your will is redefined
And like sweet petals you shall fall
To join his portrait of appall
And even that shall go insane
...now Mr Frost is in your brain.
End.
