Our Lungs
Be still, and feel
This gentle breeze
That brushes by
With careful ease
And ruffles leaves
Upon their trees
And scatters far
Their fruitful seeds
Which vein the earth
To start anew
So you and I
Can live here too!
Be still, and feel
This gentle breeze
That brushes by
With careful ease
And ruffles leaves
Upon their trees
And scatters far
Their fruitful seeds
Which vein the earth
To start anew
So you and I
Can live here too!
Thanks for this gentle reminder.
Beautiful
Stephen, another good poem and well crafted. The last few lines say it all.
Thanks for this
Keith
This poem itself is like a breath of fresh air. Delicate and refreshing.
