GRaaaft
A simple peace of frozen sunsets
Draw the eye into the place where we’ve wandered
pondering a fate that waits in the wings to reveal the life that makes us sing
But our heads are down with back to the sun we stare at the earth from which we come,
The seeds we sow, though some will die and some give rise to bright new life,
That lets us fly to cloudless skies ,to set us free and wonder why.
Oh why we didn’t’ look up before , what kept our eyes upon the floor.
Perhaps some trigger deep in mind that woke us up from being blind.
To forge ahead with friends new found with paths that cross and wander round.
For both to touch that sacred place that only angels seek embrace.
To graze the flesh that sends the heart in spirals up to meet the lark,
Whose sweet song rests upon the ears of those to sooth their unfound fears.
