To shop for a dress online 
it isn’t that much fun 
Guessing my size and style
is easier said than done 

I place items in the basket 
as I go along 
But when I get to the checkout
things start to go wrong 

Some things are out of stock
for my delivery date
I can’t risk them arriving
after the function date  

I can’t make up my mind
my order is still not placed 
My basket is empty
several hours gone to waste 

My evening is not well spent 
sat staring at a screen 
But I did learn something 
that I am no shopping queen
