THIS LITTLE LIGHT OF MINE ..

Its mid 70s the families of liverpool they struggle

Born babies the products of scandal and trouble

A woman in love at the time with a drinker

mentality destructive disturbed man dark thinker

He cared not a lot for his sons wife or health

Inside relives torture he's suffered himself

The wife didn't know this she cant understand

This was not what the vows read when gave her left hand

For better for worse though is what she vowed

You may kiss the bride now the priest said out loud

Fell pregnant..late teens so marriage a must

Her father a catholic so sinful is lust

Time it went by as the cracks just got deeper

Violent..she left him but he wants to keep'er

Her babies she loves them ..armed robberies clothed them occupation her husband all types of crime

No income to feed when her husband serves time

mentally unwell she shows no affection

Drugs drink abuse and now she has been sectioned

Her eldest a soldier got murdered at war

Lonely her youngest has no one no more

He grows up all messed up

A daughter now  blessed up

He still cuts his chest up

To bleed out his pain

His daughter the product of unhinged insane

To save his daughter his friends tried to save him

Understanding non judging time they all gave him

Medical emotional support he was given

Progressive reflective his darkness was hidden

His cousin found hanging and father found dead

"You still got me" his daughter she said

She bandaged her dad up and wiped up his tears

This was her birthday of 12 painful years

His struggling best friend who helped raise his daughter

When he could not feed her..his friend would support her

Tragedy struck and spread to next level

We had nurtured a soul long claimed by the DEVIL
