There was a time  when I was in love 

'My moon' that I called him 

Once upon a time it was divine 

Now it's a ghost from the past 

It haunts me and taunts me lots 

 

There was once a time 

I was madly in love with time 

He was just that awesome guy 

I fell in love with, head to toe 

He reversed it, when he found his love 

 

There was a day when I loved everything 

I gave up every comfort and ease 

Just to be near him was my dream 

Until he stopped feeling for me 

And was lost in another girls dream 

 

There were hours when I was in love enveloped 

The warmth of words and feelings caressing me 

It was a miracle that just manifested only for me 

Or that's what I thought, until he was gone 

In the arms of the woman, whom he now loves

 

There are still sparks of love within me remaining 

Of the long gone days, when I was for him drooling 

I could feel our souls combined, like a rose with its smell divine 

I called him my moon and felt like his light 

Until the moon went away, leaving darkness behind 

 

There's love in every heart I feel 

Some reciprocated some deceived 

You feel lucky to have your love with you 

But those who don't receive aren't unlucky too 

For they got a loving heart still beating within 

 

There's love somewhere in this world 

To be found and joined by forces divine 

It's all the matter of time 

One day the true love shall follow you 

And will be always there for you
