Tiime after time

i note reports of crime

Committed by names alien to mine

So worrying to see

Their increased frequency

That indicates a much loved land's decline

I only know what I know

That what is now on show

Is a nightmare future I've no wish to see

As time after time

I read reports of crime

By those who claim they came here to be free!

In the wider context of debate, KJ's point about stereotyping is
well taken. However just what would these WOL views
be saying if what was happening in the Met. was not addressed or even
considered for public awareness for whatever reason? The
outrage would be palpable, methinks. Not being willing to
face something unpalatable doesn't see it go away. That's it
from me. Thanks for all the opinions.

If I was to get into stereotyping, and blaming all of a peer group for crimes committed by a minority within that group, then the Metropolitan Police wouldn't come out too well.
And that's despite them covering up for rapes and murders commited by their cronies.
But I won't do that because I know better than to stereotype.

I agree with the content. As you note, the situation is well known here in the US and on the rise. Funny how observations which can be easily be proven can be considered borderline 'hate speech'. And - as a former policeman - I suspect you have a pretty good line on UK crime statistics.

"Imported" crime has always been a problem in Western countries. Indeed, in America it reached such levels that it has
become known as "Organised Crime" and is an unwelcome
malaise in US society. In the UK, we have our own history,
with the likes of the Messina brothers, Peter Rachman and
assorted notorious gangsters, against whom public awareness
and stringent action served to be largely effective - but not
totally within a free society. The huge influx of unchecked uncontrolled migration carries its own reality. An information
request made by a prominent author/historian on YouTube
obtained a worrying number of names far removed from
expected/local origins involved in crime. To consider any
attempt to address this phenomenon in the context of modern
Britain and a safe cohesive society as "hate crime" is arguably
being complicit in what is being done - and by whom.. It
that position helpful towards providing prevention and
solutions? I think not.

site I'm surprised you found time to comment on this entry,
albeit that the nature of your response was entirely predictable
and avoided the point of the content. Perhaps I could use

You mean crimes like when Jamie Barrow, who found fires ‘cathartic’, and poured petrol through his neighbour’s letterbox, setting it alight, murdering her and her two young children?
