Go away Leave me alone

Leave me to consider my flesh and bone

I just need quiet and I  need rest

I just need to sit in my pants and my vest

 

Stare out the window , go down the pub

Get pissed as a fart and fall in the mud

Wake up with a head like a train

Take a handful of tabs to ease the pain

 

Switch off the tele switch off the light

Sit in the dark in middle of the night

Enjoy the gloom switch off the phone

Let me sit here all alone.

 

The planet is dying we are all doomed

Just throw back my head and howl at the moon

But leave me  alone don’t come any closer

For in my hand is a red hot poker

 

And anyone now that invades  my space 

or pokes his finger in my face

Will have this poker in my hand 

shoved up his jacksy or I’ll be damned 

 

So f*** off all you stupid molluscs

With your apps and internet and waffley bollocks

And holding on the phone for hours

To speak to those in ivory towers 

 

Just leave me alone I just want peace

I just want QUIET and leave me be

Just all shut up and do your best

To leave me with my pants and vest
