Happy days I’m by the sea

My four legged friends and me

Splashing in and out the surf

more exciting than boring turf 

 

Who cares if it rains or shine

This sandy beach is now all mine

Buckets and spades they’ve all gone home

Leaving us playing all alone

 

Thundering waves with walls of foam

Come on throw another stone

It’s here somewhere in the sand

I thought it’s here I saw it land

 

Digging holes and running round

Oh you happy little hounds

Digging holes with satisfaction 

This is just a great distraction

 

Now let’s clamber on the rocks

Jumping off , pull out the stops

Barking now and racing round

Wrestling each other to the ground

 

Time to go jump in the car 

wagging tails , it’s not too far

Down the Lane and time for tea

Goodbye for now Mr Sea

 

Tomorrow we’ll soon be back

With my mate we’ll have the crack 

We’re all now in our happy place

Roaring seas and endless space.
