Words and smoke
She held onto the words
As if the words were a real person
Each emotion and feeling expressed
Made her feel warm, cold, fear or inhibitions
Words were powerful tool of love
Untill they turned into swords and knives
Butchering her day and night
Wounds with blood dripping words of despair
Untill everything died and only her soul was alive
God held her close at that time
He breathed into her a new life
A new me with a new beginning
Divine powers, divine strength gave her life
She was once again a living and happy
She forgot all about her wounds and scars
Divine powers miraculously worked wonders
Long back she was naive
Just a silly little child
Believing everyone
Trust, love and happiness
She was really dumb
She held onto empty promises
Which she thought would come true
She held onto memories
As if they were reality
She weaved dreams
She created castles of love
And he pushed one word button
It all fell on floor
Into innumerable pieces it all broke
And like a smoke he vanished into thin air
Never to return to her ever again
She woke up with broken dreams
With broken heart
Realising just one thing
Words aren't actions
Promises are meant to be broken
Dreams aren't reality
What's real is tangible
Empty words without actions
Has no hold on the new her
She believes in six senses
5 are tangible for things worldly
Sixth is intangible only for God almighty
Words she reads to entertain her thoughts
But doesn't act dumb and naive anymore
You can't hold onto ghosts and smoke
And love them as some real entity
Hoping someday to find someone real
Made of flesh, bones and blood
Untill then God is enough
Friends and family
And of course she has her
To enjoy her own company
