This too shall pass

This too shall pass,
A statement made with grace,
By a friend so true,
Who is far but close too.

These words reverberate,
Through the depths of my soul,
When times are tough,
And the journey negates.

This too shall pass,
A comforting embrace,
Convincingly brave,
It gives my spirit a chase.

With every difficulty faced,
These words proved true,
They lift my spirit high,
And guide me through.

This too shall pass,
When tears burn my cheek,
When my eyes itch and heart aches,
They inspire me to find the strength I seek.

And when the storms rage,
And sorrows consume my days,
I hold onto these words,
As they light my way.

This too shall pass,
And all those things did pass,
The hurt, the pain, and sorrows,
Nothing forever remained, alas.

So embrace the tides of times,
Of life's trials and tests,
Knowing deep within,
That this too shall pass, and you'll be blessed.
