The Magic in Mundane

Rolling rolling 

Rumble rumble

With all this weight

I’m sure to stumble

 

Vibrations buzzing

From my knuckle

Then down my arm

With a smoothly structured handle

Caressed in my palm

 

Blot Blot Blot

Bumpety-bump

Give yourself a stretch

Get those muscles pumped

 

Kookaburras say hello

The sun says

‘I’m here to kick your arse’

I’m reminded there is always a world out here

Insects, trees, flowers

And grass!

 

My elderly neighbour Jack

Smiles and says g’day

Because he knows there is no better moment

Than exactly where we are today

 

Meditation takes all forms

And we like to get our wins

I feel I’ve got it all covered here

When I’m taking out our bins
