The Red (Pink) Room.

The Red (Pink) Room.

The red room was never really red

It was more a salmon pink

But no one ever wants to admit that they like the colour pink

Do they?

Anyway, the red room (which was really pink)

It was a special room

The kind of room that hugged you

Until you turned bright pink

It was a room without corners

It didn’t even really have a ceiling

It was just a room

Without walls

It lead off from the yellow hall

And that is possibly the most interesting thing of all

About the red room

That was really pink

Did I mention that

It was a room without walls

Or a ceiling?

I think I did

You may be wondering

What is so special about the red (pink) room

It’s not particularly special

To anyone but me and my king

Now I have you wondering

Who cares whether the room

Was red or pink

How can you have room

Without walls or a ceiling?

It is clear to me

You have never met my king.
