British teenagers are unhappy and our girls are getting sadder

According to a survey British teenagers are the unhappiest in Europe.

There is a deeply worrying picture re their future well being, happiness and hope.

A quater of 15 year olds report having a poor future life satisfaction,

Almost a third of U.k.teenage girls forsee  an unhappy future expectation.

U.K. girls between 10 and 15 frequently feel rejected,

And are forced to look a certain way to be accepted.

Alarm bells are ringing, teenagers are suffering a happiness recession ,

We need to address the situation and provide a better future happiness expectation.

Thanks Hugh,
"British teenagers are unhappy and our girls are getting sadder" ?

I don't know if that is actually true.
What I DO know from speaking to friends, is that many of us, old and young, are attempting to live up to false expectations...the result of a diet of lies that we are fed on a daily basis.

Teens have always gone their own way when it comes to moving
through the so-called "difficult years", questioning, rebelling yet
also conforming along the way. Perhaps there is too much
concentration on them these days. adding not only to the
uncertainties but also persuading them that they are special in
a way their predecessors were not. It is interesting that THEIR parents can be said to be the spoilt generation of their own
parents who wanted something more for them than they had
in distant, difficult and deadly dangerous times. Too much of
the "good things" that modern life offers can be damaging in
its own way, not helped by the more lax attitudes that exist
today.
