October 2024 Collage Poem: The Two Halves of Life
Cowboy erotica removes its Stetson
Eyes of ghost strangers
Sleep like silent fish forks.
don’t eat me, I’m not a pig
My coat isn’t thick enough in the winter
terrifying shop keepers
TAKE THE STAIRS INSTEAD OF THE LIFT
PIG PIG PIG – Bacon Butty anyone?
I ruminate on only blood and brain to haunt
the boneyard of my dreams
drinking a sunset in a spring of uncertain pleasures
chasing dreams a victim of the night
