TOMMY ROBINSON

entry picture

(Apologies for the poor sound quality of the guitar accompaniment leaving my singing even more exposed)

So here's to you, Tommy Robinson

Prison holds a place for you today

Hey hey hey.

Enjoy yourself Tommy Robinson

Locked up 18 months; enjoy your stay.

Hey hey hey.

Now it's come home Tommy Robinson

Hounding refugees was just good sport

It's good to know Tommy Robinson

Admitting that you showed contempt of court.

Hey hey hey

Hey hey hey.

Rest assured you took up several volumes of police files

Dating from your times with the EDL

When there was an odour from some rotten racist bile

You were at the centre of that smell.

You were once Tommy Robinson

Hijacker of England's national flag

Where are you now Tommy Robinson?

Rubbing shoulders with all those old lags

Laugh about it shout about it

Don't let your feelings hide

Tommy Robinson is now inside

So here's to you Tommy Robinson

Self-appointed leader of the right

Now look around Tommy Robinson

8 by 10 for you both day and night.

Laugh about it shout about it

It's so nice to think

Tommy Robinson's now in the clink

Now watch yourself Tommy Robinson

Mind that in the showers you're not groped

(Like we hope)

And my advice Tommy Robinson

Dont bend down to find your bar of soap.

(Keep it roped)

Laugh about it shout about it

Good to see that slime

Tommy Robinson is doing time

So bugger off Tommy Robinson

Nice to see that you've been put away

Hey hey hey

What's that you say, Tommy Robinson

Now we cannot hear you brag and bray.

“…language that can take people out of comfort zones…”?
For that, read: “Incitement to racial hatred”.
MC, I've no time for dogs that bark because they’re mad, still less, for those with rabies.

In the interest of debate, it seems to me that a point of view
can take precedence in certain matters, not least in an
historical context. Interpretation and circumstance come into play and affect the outlook. Yaxley-Lennon is a contentious figure in contentious times but there have been others
before him who have used methods and language that can
take people out of comfort zones and yet time can also alter perceptions.
Law-breakers can become the ground-breakers of later times.
We should know that much by now and it remains to be seen
what history makes of this individual in the context of these
controversial times when trust in the established political
and legal machinery is at an all-time low- with some reason
on the evidence. We should be aware - or let us beware!
We may not have much time for a dog that bites but we'd be foolish to ignore the reasons that encourage it to do so.

You're not one of those people who contributed to Yaxley-Lennon's "legal defence" fund, only for him to plead guilty, are you M.C.?

Indeed, Uilleam. Pleaded guilty in a court of law. Not much “perceived” about that. And as nasty a piece of work as you’d meet in a long day’s march.

Not "perceived" offence MC, actual...a common criminal with no respect for UK laws, well and truly banged to rights.

Whatever his perceived offences, he has one asset - the commitment to pay for his political position vis prison. He also
maintained the public awareness of what was happening but not
addressed by those whose duty it was. Extreme behaviour...but
from whom and why - that is the ongoing source of concern.
Meanwhile, in Manchester....(to be endlessly continued?).

Well done once more John.
Mummy’s poor little soldier. I’ll be contributing to his go fund me, so when he gets out he can carry on campaigning to Make Britain Great Again from his sunbed on the Costa del Crook.
